DAV Public School Saharsa was started in a rented building at HatiyaGachhi , Ward No.31 in April 2019 with 400 plus students upto class 5. Now, it has 700 plus students and it is upgraded to class 7.

DAVPS Saharsa is directly managed by DAV College Trust and Managing Society, New Delhi with the goodwill and cooperation of the local intelligentsia under the able guidance of Assistant Regional Office, Bihar Zone-G,Samastipur (Bihar).

It is the 86th branch of Bihar approved by DAVCMC, New Delhi.

We have a galaxy of well-qualified and competent teachers in various subjects from different States of India .All the teachers are post graduate, B.ed.and CTET, STET with update knowledge of computer.

It has a good library stuffed with good collection of various types of books and a computer lab.It has a small  playground. The sports room has many types of sports items.

The school has teaching aids , CCTV Cameras and other required equipment for overall development of children. 
Our teachers are very caring , affectionate and affable towards each and every child.

The school has more than 20 classrooms besides Principal Chamber, Office, Reception counter,Common room, staff room etc.

The school has also employed 02 Aayas, 03 Security guards, 02 Sweepers,01 peon , 01Gardener,01 Receptionist etc.
